This institute is designed to optimize adult literacy programs' performance outcomes through results oriented program planning using evidence and research-based strategies to effectively manage classes and enhance student persistence and retention.

You are welcome to attend any or all of these sessions in isolation. If you decide to attend the entire institute, you will be given a digital badge at the end of the sessions.

Session #3 Classroom Management in the Adult Education Classroom

Description: How can instructors maintain a positive classroom environment that is conducive to learning? How can one ensure that students stay engaged and motivated? In this workshop, participants will reflect upon their current challenges and strategies for classroom management, learn valuable tips and evidenced-based practices for effective management, and consider ways to incorporate some of these tips into their respective practices.
